Being A Nurse

Nurse is indeed an exciting, challenging and an extraordinary profession. As a nurse, you have to develop yourself first to become a better person with a big heart. It is because yourself is your best weapon to be successful nurse.
The work of a nurse is so difficult and enormous because it needs your patience, love and hardship in every task that you need to accomplish in everyday of a nurse's duty. The approach must be holistic, involving the spiritual, physical, mental, social and emotional of an individual. A nurse must be fulfill ed with so much love to nurture his or her patients.
Being a nurse must equipped with knowledge, skill and attitude. Nursing is a 4-year course with a huge hours of on-the-job training and 2 summer during tertiary education. It is time to study and learn nursing courses. It is the preparation and the foundation of being a nurse, formal education, since it is a profession and it has a board examination to be licensed which is so-called Nurses Licensure Examination that must be register in Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC).
After college and passing the board exam and be licensed, then a person became a registered nurse and ready to apply for a job.
Working in a hospital required a certain qualifications. Hospitals need nurses who are responsible, can handle pressures, compassionate, with good decision making, or in other word an asset for their institution. While working, it needs a series of training for a nurse to develop their skills. And with that, nurses' attitude will change eventually. One may develop leadership skills as his or her position in the institution is going up or promoted.
Remember, in every day serving patients, nurses should reflect and gain lessons which will teach or can bring difference. It must be a continuous process and learnings...
Nurses' work is all about human lives and making a peaceful and happy moments despite of pain and suffering from illnesses... Love your patients.... love your work....Godbless nurses!
