- Nurse - It is one of the most well-known paramedical professions which is a vital part of medical care. In the hospital, from general ward to the operation theatre, nursing is the most important component of patient care. Nursing is an essential component of the healthcare system.
- Physician - also known as medical practitioner, doctor of medicine or medical doctor. This properly requires both a detailed knowledge of the academic disciplines (such as anatomy and physiology) underlying diseases and their treatment — the science of medicine — and also a decent competence in its applied practice — the art or craft of medicine.
- Dentist - is the known evaluation, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases, disorders and conditions of the soft and hard tissues of the jaw (mandible), the oral cavity, maxillofacial area and the adjacent and associated structures and their impact on the human body. Dentistry is that branch of medicine which deals with the study and practice of diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases of the mouth, the maxilla, and the face. They are trained to perform the specific clinical procedures that aim to prevent dental disease and work under the supervision of a dentist. The basic job of a dental mechanic is making and repairing artificial teeth, straightening of teeth & filling of cavities.
- Pharmacist - are health professionals who practice the science of pharmacy. The role of the pharmacists are taking a request for medicines from a prescribing health care provider in the form of a medical prescription, evaluate the appropriateness of the prescription, dispense the medication to the patient and counsel them on the proper use and adverse effects of that medication. Another role of the pharmacists is to act as a learned intermediary between physicians and patients and thus ensure the safe and effective use of medications. Pharmacists are trained in pharmacology, pharmacognosy, chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, microbiology, pharmacy practice (including drug interactions, medicine monitoring, medication management), pharmaceutics, pharmacy law, physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, pharmacokinetics, drug delivery, pharmaceutical care, nephrology, hepatology, and compounding medications. Additional curriculum covers diagnosis with emphasis on laboratory tests, disease state management, therapeutics and prescribing (selecting the most appropriate medication for a given patient).
- Dietitian or Nutritionist - Dietitians and nutritionists plan food and nutrition programs, supervise meal preparation, and oversee the serving of meals. Dietitians manage food service systems for institutions such as hospitals and schools, promote sound eating habits through education, and conduct research. They prevent and treat illnesses by promoting healthy eating habits and recommending dietary modifications.
- Physiotherapist - their job is to restore mobility, alleviate pain and suffering, and to prevent permanent disability in patients. They treat fracture of bones, sprains, neurological disorders caused by trauma, infection and paralysis. Physiotherapy is about the treatment and prevention of conditions that reduce people's physical capacity or mobility. Physiotherapists draw on their extensive training in and knowledge of the mechanics and anatomy of the human body to identify the causes of any underlying problems and develop strategies to restore normal functioning. A physiotherapist may work with someone after injury, accident or surgery, or may work to prevent injury for instance with sporting clubs or in the workplace. Physiotherapists work in a wide variety of settings: hospital; private clinics; hospices; nursing homes; a patients own home; the workplace; sports clubs and gyms.
- Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory therapists and respiratory therapy technicians—also known as respiratory care practitioners—evaluate, treat, and care for patients with breathing or other cardiopulmonary disorders. Practicing under the direction of a physician, respiratory therapists assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care therapeutic treatments and diagnostic procedures, including the supervision of respiratory therapy technicians. Respiratory therapy technicians follow specific, well-defined respiratory care procedures under the direction of respiratory therapists and physicians. Respiratory therapists evaluate and treat all types of patients, ranging from premature infants whose lungs are not fully developed to elderly people whose lungs are diseased. Respiratory therapists provide temporary relief to patients with chronic asthma or emphysema, and they give emergency care to patients who are victims of a heart attack, stroke, drowning, or shock.
- Occupational Therapist - They treat patients with physical and spastic disabilities. It focuses on helping individuals with mental or physical illness / disability to come back to normalcy. Occupational therapist uses various methods in the treatment of their patients to assist them in maximum recovery and becoming normal after a prolonged disabling illness.They assist the patients with artificial limbs, patients with neurological disorders, premature infants, disabled patients etc.
- Paramedical Technologists - Paramedical experts play a very important role in helping the doctor to make an accurate diagnosis for treatment, cure and overall care of patients. Paramedical Services are those which assist medical profession in one or many forms e.g. Radiography, Medical Laboratory Technology, Nursing, Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy etc. Para-medical professional supports the medical team with closely related functions for complete treatment.Within the paramedical services there are many specialized fields such as physiotherapy, radiography etc.
- Social Worker - Social work is a profession for those with a strong desire to help improve people’s lives. A social worker is a helping professional who is distinguished from other human service professionals by a focus on both the individual and his or her environment. Social workers assist people by helping them cope with issues in their everyday lives, deal with their relationships, and solve personal and family problems. The social work profession is broader than most disciplines with regard to the range and types of problems addressed, the settings in which the work takes place, the levels of practice, interventions used, and populations served.
- Chaplains - A chaplain is typically a priest, pastor, ordained deacon, rabbi, imam or other member of the clergy serving a group of people who are not organised as a mission or church, or who are unable to attend church for various reasons; such as health, confinement, or military or civil duties. Professional chaplains provide spiritual care in a variety of healthcare settings. Professional chaplains offer spiritual care to all who are in need and have specialized education to mobilize spiritual resources so that patients cope more effectively. They maintain confidentiality and provide a supportive context within which patients can discuss their concerns. They are professionally accountable to their religious faith group, their certifying chaplaincy organization, and the employing institution.
- Case Managers - they are the one who manage and coordinate in different services such as health, legal, or financial on behalf of a party. This typically includes creating a case file and following a process to ensure delivery of services. A case is handled by a case manager or case team. is a person who arranges necessary health-care services for a patient or group of patients. The case manager could be a doctor, a nurse, another health care professional, or a social worker. Case managers oversee case management outcomes, guidelines and standards of practice, reimbursement, trends in managed care, ethical/legal issues, and assessment. Case management consists of plan of care development, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation. Case managers work with individuals or groups of varied cultural backgrounds, age, and gender.

Health Care Team or Professionals
Providers of Health Care are health personnel from different disciplines who coordinate their skills to assist a client and/or support person. A health care provider or health professional is an organization or person who delivers proper health care in a systematic way professionally to any individual in need of health care services. Their mutual goal is to restore a client's health and promote wellness.
